Volunteer Description

As a chamber, we like to get our members involved in our fundraising activities. The events take place at different times in the year. They are organized by a group of "Volunteers". We realize that each person has dedicated their time and efforts to helping us make a better community. Therefore the meetings will be flexible and last no longer than one hour. Volunteering with us is about the fun of meeting new people and making a better place to live.

We encourage each of you who volunteer your time to wear clothing that represents your company or organization. It is usually not just your time, but theirs too.

We like to take care of our volunteers. Volunteers are provided free beverages and food the day of the event. (Some limitations do apply.)

As current chamber members we must all realize the value of every dollar spent. This is why we ask each item for the event be purchased from "Chamber Members Only" unless specified otherwise.

Each volunteer can choose which duties and responsibilities he/she would like to accomplish on each committee. If there is a problem in that committee or with the committee date, please see your chair or the chamber Executive Assistant, Anna Deen or Toni Vaught. We want your experience to be pleasurable and rewarding.
