Member Benefits Include:
- Member to Member Discount and Bartering Program. You may take advantage of discounts offered by your fellow investors or become a participant yourself. This is a terrific way to let the other investors know about your business and the services you offer as well as increase traffic/profits.
- Networking Luncheons. Held monthly. These luncheons offer you a chance to get to know others in the Chamber as well as giving you an opportunity to let them know about you. Bring your business cards, have lunch, and listen to an interesting speaker. We encourage all of you to attend. The only thing you have to lose is-Business.
- Chamber of Commerce "Directions". Published the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. We have partnered with the Shelbyville News to allow the community to learn about the Chamber and what we do for and with those living in Shelby County. An entire page is dedicated to chamber news, current events, calendars, listing of new members, articles by Board members, positive information about the local education system, and highlighting existing members. We also include an article entitled "Your Chamber at Work". Twice a month, we will be giving a Small Business a chance to tell the entire community about their business including a picture. This column is available to Presidential Club members only.
- Free radio spots each week for Chamber members. We have partnered with WKWH to offer free radio time.
- Chamber sponsored Retirement/401k program with participation by local chamber investor financial services persons.
- Chamber sponsored Health/Dental/Vision/Flexible benefits program with participation by local chamber investor agents.
- Chamber sponsored Gift Certificate program called CertifiChecks. Anyone in the community can purchase them and they can be used at any chamber member's business, which means the recipient could use it to buy tires, pay their Cinergy or doctor bill, buy groceries, etc. This will be driving dollars back into the local economy. The program will hopefully be used by companies like yours as employee rewards and incentives.
- Monthly Bulk Mailings. Every month a letter goes out to each Chamber member letting them know of upcoming events, ribbon cuttings, new members, Presidential members for the previous month, who received free radio time and other timely information. Any Chamber member who wishes to may put a flyer in the bulk mailing free.
470 flyers must be brought to the Chamber office by no later than the 20th of the month prior to the mailing. This is another way to let your fellow Chamber members know who you are and what you do.

| b. | As a Chamber investor, you are automatically place on our website. We will hyperlink our site to your website (if you have one) which will give you two places of E Commerce instead of just one. |
| c. | Business Referrals. The Chamber is a RESOURCE and REFERENCE to inquiries and newcomers to the community. |
| d. | New Member Welcome Kit. Each new investor is provided with a welcome kit from other chamber members, which contains promotional items, printed materials and discounts. If you do not already participate with an item for the Welcome Kit, you might want to do so. This is another avenue for you and your business to gain visibility.

Rack. We offer business card racks for MEMBERS ONLY. These cards are picked up, mailed and faxed to potential customers. Our display
rack is the perfect place for your brochures, pamphlets, etc. to be picked up by residents, newcomers and other businesspersons. |
