Indiana Precision Forge (IPF) is a Japanese joint venture company that manufactures cold forged parts with machining for the automotive industry. We were established in 1996, and have experienced steady growth over the past 16 years. We offer a clean, friendly work environment. We have positions available for machine operators. Machine operators are involved in all aspects of operating CNC lathes and other machining equipment, including tool changes, adjustments, quality checks, troubleshooting, and minor maintenance items. An understanding of metric system measurements, decimals, specification ranges, and charting is required as well as experience using measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, etc. Physical ability to handle 2 pound parts up to 250 times an hour and to handle about 35-40 pound containers 15-20 times an hour. Minimum high school education or equivalency. Two or more years previous experience operating machinery in an industrial environment is preferred.
