The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce will have an Executive Assistant position opening this fall. Our current Executive Assistant, Becky, is leaving mid-September.
This position concentrates mainly on member communication – designing and developing our monthly newsletter (Adobe InDesign software), collecting and communicating messages on our weekly e-mail broadcasts. This position also maintains the Chamber’s website, assists with Chamber events, and coordinates a multitude of tasks in a professional business environment.
The position requires a desire to work with people, exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), excellent organizational skills, as well as an understanding of office practices and procedures. Knowledge of personal computers and related software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, etc.) is required. Must be a self-starter; working without significant
guidance; with a sense of priority. Incumbent must have a working knowledge of Business English including punctuation, spelling and grammar and the ability to write professional business correspondence. Familiarity with Website maintenance, Facebook group pages, and working with database software is preferred.

test methods, techniques, equipment and facilities at various stages of the manufacturing process to verify product characteristics. Must have the ability to work in a team oriented environment and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Applications. Quality, Engineer degree, ASQ CQE/CQA certification, ISO and Aircraft Quality Program experience
